What are add-ons?
SAP Business One add-ons are extensions to the ERP software for SMEs.
Add-ons enable you to customize the ERP solution to meet the additional needs of your specific company. The difference between extensions (add-ons) and industry solutions is that add-ons are industry-independent, meaning they can be used in every sector. Business One add-ons are characterized by their simple and quick integration. A range of free and paid add-ons for Business One are available from SAP and its partners.

Add-ons for Datev and Elster
Among other things, extra solutions are available for cost accounting, production control, project management, web-based service and travel expense accounting, and digital human resources. The free add-ons provided directly by the Walldorf-based company SAP include Outlook integration (for connecting Business One and Microsoft Outlook), Datev (for exporting Business One financial data to Datev), Elster (for connecting with VAT registration), asset accounting, Intrastat, and Payment Engine to create bank files for incoming and outgoing payments (direct debit/transfer). Payment Engine also reads electronic bank statements and allows you to manually process incoming bank statements with the cash and bank book.
This add-on consists of three programs: create bank files, import external bank statements, and cash and bank book, which allows incoming bank statements to be processed manually.
