In collaboration with our customer Heck Caravan & Reisemobile GmbH & Co. KG we developed a customized industry solution tailored specifically to the needs of RV & motorhome dealerships.
Digitalization: State-of-the-Art Technology for the RV Industry
Using SAP’s Business Technology Platform (BTP), an app was developed specifically for this industry solution, allowing quality assurance tasks in the RV industry to be conveniently handled on a smartphone. Thanks to the integration, all data from the checklist app is immediately synchronized with SAP Business One.
Checklist App for the RV trade
Here's how the Checklist App works:
- Select a checklist
- Scan the VIN or enter it manually. This automatically selects the correct vehicle.
- Select the employee who is to process the checklist from a drop-down list.
- Select the customer and customer order
- Fill out the checklist: for each checklist, you must answer verification questions regarding the vehicle's status. You can add photos and notes, e.g. regarding the security deposit.
- Click “Add” button to send all information directly to SAP Business One, where it can be accessed.
These checklists are currently available but can be individually expanded and customized:
